Reinhardt University Fall 2022 top scholarship recipient OVIE EGBERIE is a junior from Georgia and a special young man who has a smile that lights up a room! He is viewed by his teammates as a "team driven player" who always consistently displays a positive attitude. His work rate is outstanding. He is thankful... and gratitude is a quality that is becoming increasingly rare in our evolving culture in my opinion so this characteristic stands out to me
Ovie is majoring in Business and intends to pursue an MBA graduate degree after graduation. He is undecided on his future plans beyond that at this point. Ovie volunteers at his local church in a variety of service outlets.
Fun Facts about Ovie: • His favorite superhero is Spider Man • His favorite Bible verse is Romans 3:21-25 I because it just fires me up and motivates me to boost my faith in Jesus Christ knowing that believing in him will lead me to a righteous life. I also love this because it just makes me become more thankful for his sacrifice. • His favorite childhood game was fireball, which is a fun version of tag with friends. • The way Ovie likes to serve the most is by simply treating everyone nicely and trying to be an example of Christ. I feel like just being a kind person to everyone can really put a light in people’s lives. • Motto to live by: “If Christ is for me, then who can stand against me?” It’s been erasing a lot of my worries and doubts I’ve had about life.
